The original Opening Theme for Practical Lunacy was set to a VNV Nation song, and consisting of Luna just talking over it. It also mentioned some of the other potential names for the show, such as "a witch and her bitch"

The theme changed as different hosts came onto the show and left the show, and as Luna got better at audio editing.

For a while , there were three separate opening themes for the show, based on which regular hosts were on.

Currently, the theme only mentions Luna and Mikal.
